SMS Policy

How Crescentic uses SMS across its products — for security, alerts, and service notices only. No marketing.

Crescentic LLC uses SMS (text messages) to keep your account secure and to send important notifications you choose to enable. This page explains how opting in works, what you can expect to receive, and how to opt out at any time.

Why we send SMS

  • Account security — two-factor authentication (2FA) codes when you sign in or perform sensitive actions.
  • Alerts you enable — critical account and document events you opt into inside Settings.
  • Service notices — rare, time-sensitive updates about platform availability or security.
  • We do not send promotional or marketing messages via SMS.

How opt-in works

  • In the app, add and verify your mobile number, then enable SMS for 2FA and/or alerts.
  • We send a one-time verification code to confirm the number is yours.
  • Your preferences are stored with your account and can be changed at any time.

Opt-out & help

  • Text STOP to opt out of SMS. You will receive a confirmation message.
  • Text HELP for help, or contact support at support@crescentic.ai.
  • You can also disable SMS in Settings at any time.

Message details

  • Message frequency varies based on your activity and preferences.
  • Message and data rates may apply.
  • Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Privacy & data use

  • We use your phone number only to provide the services you enable (2FA, alerts, and service notices).
  • We may use trusted service providers to deliver SMS on our behalf; those providers may use your phone number only to provide these services.
  • We do not sell your personal information. See our Privacy Statement for full details.
  • We retain limited delivery logs for security and troubleshooting.
